On Friday, Eli Manning decided to officially join Twitter after hinting at him possibly doing so back in April. Tom Brady, who is now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, shared a hilarious response to Manning joining Twitter.

Just last year, Brady chose to join Twitter, becoming a must-follow in a short period of time. His latest tweet to Manning is among the many reasons why 1.1 million people currently follow him.

After this past season concluded, Manning decided to retire from the New York Giants after 16 seasons with the team. With more time on his hands, Manning needs something to do while he's enjoying life outside of football.

Of course, Brady and Manning are very familiar with one another, having met in two Super Bowls. In their first meeting against each other in 2007, Brady and the New England Patriots came into the Super Bowl with an undefeated record on the line.

Nevertheless, Manning and the Giants defeated Brady after Manning connected on a 13-yard pass to Plaxico Burress with 35 seconds remaining. Then, the two quarterbacks would find themselves in a rematch just four years later.

When Manning and Brady squared off in the Super Bowl in 2011, the Patriots held a 17-9 lead in the third quarter. Following a few crucial drives, Manning led the Giants down the field late in the fourth quarter, capping off the drive with a six-yard run by Ahmad Bradshaw.

Even though Tom Brady has six Super Bowl rings, he easily could've had eight of them if Manning hadn't shown up in crunch time in those games. That is something that Brady won't ever let Manning forget — even in retirement.
