Vita Vea has been causing a lot of excitement and hype for Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans this season. He has missed the first three weeks of the year, but it appears that he will be on his way back in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears.
According to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Vea is ready to come back from his calf injury for the Buccaneers to help bolster their defensive front.
Buccaneers first-round pick Vita Vea is expected to make his NFL debut Sunday vs. the Bears, per source. Vea has been out much of the summer and the start of the season with a calf injury, but looked strong at practice this past week.

Tampa Bay has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2018 season thus far. After not being given much hype heading into the season, the Buccaneers have gotten off to a 2-1 start. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been labeled “Fitzmagic” and the Buccaneers' offense as a whole has been playing out of this world.
Article Continues BelowVea may not be the piece that makes them a serious contender in the NFC, but he has a lot of star potential to develop into.
Last season in college with the Washington Huskies, Vea was one of the most dominant defensive linemen in the country. He racked up 43 total tackles to go along with 3.5 sacks and four defended passes. Not bad for a defensive lineman.
Standing in at 6-foot-3 and 340 pounds, Vea will be joining an extremely talented defensive line for the Bucs. He will fit in alongside Gerald McCoy, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Vinny Curry. Very few teams can boast that they have the amount of talent on the line that Tampa Bay does.
Expect to see Vea get quite a bit of work in his debut. Tampa Bay will have their hands full with a much-improved Chicago offense and will be asked to help clog the middle against running backs Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen.
