The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are among the teams in the NFL that seem to be getting hot at the perfect time. After another methodical drive by the Buccaneers, Tom Brady connected with Antonio Brown for a touchdown to give Tampa Bay an early 17-3 lead in the second quarter over the Falcons.

When you face Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, you want to collapse the pocket and force him to be uncomfortable throwing the ball. However, even at 43 years old, Brady can still escape the pocket and make plays down the field.

That's exactly what he did against the Falcons after Atlanta's defensive front forced him to roll out to his right. After finding some space on the right side of the field to survey his targets, Tom Brady found Brown in the back of the end zone.

With a touchdown grab against the Falcons, Brown has now caught a touchdown in three consecutive games for the Buccaneers. The veteran wideout got off to a slow start with Tampa Bay and Tom Brady, hauling in only 20 passes for 168 yards and zero touchdowns in his first four games with his new team.

But in the past four weeks—including Sunday's game thus far—Brown now has recorded 17 receptions for 230 yards and three touchdowns despite sharing targets with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. That could be subject to change if Evans is discovered to have suffered a serious knee injury during Sunday's game versus the Falcons. Brown has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

While the Buccaneers prepare for their first playoff game since 2007, it appears Tom Brady and Antonio Brown are getting on the same page at a perfect time.

If Tom Brady and the Bucs win this game — and it certainly appears they will — they will lock up the No. 5 seed in the NFC and visit the NFC East champion (to be determined) in the wild card round on Saturday, Jan. 9 or Sunday, Jan. 10. The announcements of matchups, TV networks and kickoff times will come Sunday night.
