Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar quarterback Tom Brady was just one of thousands of Americans that were affected by the wrath of Tropical Storm Eta. The three-time MVP winner could do nothing but watch as his dock and a couple of jet skis literally floated away during the storm.

Brady recently shared his experience, and unsurprisingly, he's not exactly crying about it:

“I had a dock that broke, it floated away,” Brady said, via Justin Leger of Yahoo Sports. “I had these jet skis on it and I saw those things sitting out in the middle of the bay, and I was going ‘wow, that's pretty surreal.'”

I guess you'd also feel the same way if you were earning $30 million per year.

Don't get Brady wrong here, though. He's not being tone-deaf, and we don't believe he's being insensitive with his statement here. As a matter of fact, the 43-year-old completely understands how insignificant his losses were as compared to other Americans who lost much more because of the storm.

“I was just kind of laughing like well, you'll get the jet skis back. A lot of people are dealing with much worse than that,” Brady said.

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers will be back in action on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. This matchup presents itself as an opportunity for Tampa Bay to bounce back following an embarrassing 38-3 blowout loss against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. Brady was also pretty bad himself in that one, so the 14-time Pro-Bowler will need to come out with a much better performance against the Panthers.
