The Carolina Panthers were about to take a 17-10 halftime lead against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, until Tom Brady and Mike Evans said otherwise.
Brady connected with Evans on a three-yard pass with 35 seconds left, as the Buccaneers found the end zone to tie the game at 17 at the half.

Brady’s touchdown pass to Mike Evans, his eighth of the season and 55th of his career, ended a nine-play 75-yard play that took just 3:29 as the Buccaneers equalized after falling behind against Carolina. The 43-year old quarterback, meanwhile, had his 21st touchdown pass of the season against seven interceptions. Brady has recently said that he needed to connect more to Evans, and this play shows that he's trying to do just that.
The 27-year old Evans, a three-time Pro Bowler, showed tremendous balance and strength in catching the football near the back of the end zone, and was able to tap both his feet on the ground while maintaining control of the football as he was going down while Panthers cornerback Rasul Douglas tried to take it from him. Evans entered this game with 437 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 34 receptions.
With the score all knotted up, Tampa Bay will look to secure their seventh win of the season in the second half just a week after suffering a 38-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
