The Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers face off in Week 4. However, there is a bit of a problem, the Titans were a part of a major COVID-19 outbreak with the Minnesota Vikings.
Due to that, there is a legitimate concern about their Week 4 contest. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, there is already a contingency plan in place between the Titans and Steelers.
NFL wants to and intends to play the Titans-Steelers game as scheduled Sunday; one of the contingency plans to allow for additional testing and contact tracing to occur would be to move the game to Monday night, per source.

ESPN's Dianna Russini added that even Tuesday has been offered as a rescheduled day if Monday is out of the question.
While there is a contingency plan in place for the Steelers at the Titans as @AdamSchefter reported, I'm told both Monday AND Tuesday are in play as options. There is also a contingency plan in place for Minnesota at Houston that includes playing Monday if needed.

This is a pretty simple plan. Simply move the game back a day—which allows for some extra testing.
Article Continues BelowOf course, this plan is not foolproof either. There is still a chance that the extra day of testing does not solve anything. Players could still have symptoms or test positive, and they could still run into a serious problem. The Titans and Steelers need to confirm negative tests before facing off in Week 4.
For now though, this is a good move. It allows for the NFL to get an extra day of contact tracing in and make sure everything is as safe as possible.
The good news is, they have clearly planned for this to some extent. Hopefully the contingency plan is more than efficient. Even better, hopefully it ends up not even coming down to the contingency plan.
Due to the Titans' outbreak, the Vikings have seen their facility shut down, too, with practices between the franchises canceled.
Maybe everything will be sorted out by Sunday and we can go about our usual football weeks without any changes or fears of a bigger outbreak.
