With the NFL season quickly approaching, the Tennessee Titans are ready to take the league by storm. After a busy offseason, the front office managed to vastly improve the receiving room while making necessary changes on the defense. The Titans are shaping up to be serious Super Bowl contenders but will need to prove it throughout the season.
The defense has restructured the secondary and brought in some high motor players within the front seven. These improvements should not go unnoticed, as the Titans gave up a ton of yards through the air and had difficulty sacking the quarterback. The necessary improvements should make the defense better, which bodes well for the Titans' chances in 2021.
Tennessee's offense is going to be a high-scoring juggernaut opposing defenses will struggle to slow down. The acquisition of Julio Jones gives the Titans two elite wide receivers, while Derrick Henry aims to earn his third consecutive rushing title. This team has the tools to go the distance, as it should be a great year for this franchise. With that said, here are four bold predictions for the Titans 2021 NFL season.

4. Titans defense finishes top 10
The Titans had one of the worst defenses in the league last year and still managed to win 11 games. With how powerful the offense is, the defense just has to be average to give the Titans a chance to make a Super Bowl run. However, the front office made some aggressive moves that gives this unit the potential to finish within the top 10.
Look for Jeffery Simmons and Kevin Byard to serve as the leaders on the defensive side of the ball. With new additions Bud Dupree and Denico Autry, the Titans could have the front seven necessary to cause mayhem in the backfield. Meanwhile, Jayon Brown re-signed, and Elijah Molden has looked like the real deal throughout the preseason.
Shane Bowen is the official defensive coordinator and Jim Schwartz comes back as a defensive assistant. Between the new-look defense and the coaching staff, the Titans could burst onto the scene with a top defense in the NFL.
3. Julio Jones & AJ Brown combine for over 2,200 receiving yards
The wide receiver position has never been the best throughout franchise history. However, that has all changed, as the Titans have Julio Jones and AJ Brown out wide. Two elite pass catchers completely open up the field for this offense and make life easy for Ryan Tannehill. We've seen opposing defenses stack the box to slow down Derrick Henry, but with Jones and Brown lined up outside, loading the front seven is no longer an option.
Article Continues BelowLook for the Titans' offense to feast this season as they have the potential to be the league's number one offense. AJ Brown and Corey Davis went for over 2,000 receiving yards last year, so Jones and Brown going over 2,200 isn't out of this realm. We should be seeing plenty of big-play highlights out of the Titans superstar wide receiver duo all season long with Ryan Tannehill delivering the ball as a consistent quarterback.
2. Derrick Henry breaks 2,000 rushing yards again
Derrick Henry broke 2,000 rushing yards last year as he secured a second rushing title. He enters the 2021 season with a fantastic outlook, as he could be the leagues top running back once again. With Jones and Brown outside, defenses have to respect the passing game. This will open up the running lanes even more for Henry, giving him more running room than before.
With opposing defenses more spread out and the extra regular-season game, Henry has a solid chance to break the 2,000-yard mark again. He'd be the first player in NFL history to reach 2,000 yards twice. If anyone can do it, it's King Henry himself, as he's a behemoth of a running back that can dictate the game.
1. Titans win the Super Bowl
The Tennessee Titans are one of several teams to have never won a Super Bowl. That can all change this year as this is possibly the best roster in franchise history. The offense is stacked and the defense is vastly improved. They easily have one of the best rosters in the league, which bodes well for their chances.
Additionally, the Titans participate in a rather weak AFC South division. There is a real chance Tennessee sweeps their divisional rivals this year. This is an elite squad that is hungry to prove themselves as legitimate contenders. Keep an eye on the Titans, as this team looks to take over the league in 2021.
