It appears the rumor that Tom Brady was checking out schools for his kids in the Nashville area isn't true after all. The speculation of Brady's kids changing schools made some wonder if Brady could be looking at joining the Tennessee Titans and reuniting with Mike Vrabel.
According to Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com, the rumor isn't true, and it appears it was all just a misunderstanding. According to Nashville attorney Blair Durham, whose son attends Montgomery Bell Academy, a Hall of Famer's (Steve Hutchinson) kid was touring the school. When that was announced and a student saw his wife, they made the mistake thinking it was Gisele.
“My son goes to MBA and the Tom Brady rumors that happened that he and Gisele were touring MBA, how that happened, a sophomore kid goes down to their admissions director and asks his assistant if he can meet with them,” Durham told the station. “She says, ‘He is currently meeting with a Hall of Famer.’ Steve Hutchinson’s son, Luke, is touring MBA and is in the office, and Steve Hutchinson’s wife, Landon, is a very pretty blonde that this 10th grader mistakes for Gisele, and it snowballed from there.”
Who really knows if this is where the rumors started, but this explanation makes a lot of sense. Brady coming to the Titans didn't make sense when the rumors started, and it doesn't now.
The Titans look like they have their franchise quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, and it's hard to imagine they would throw that away for a year or two of Tom Brady.
