Former Miami Heat guard Norris Cole has received a $700,000 offer by Maccabi Tel Aviv to play in the Euroleague this upcoming season, according to international reporter David Pick.

The NBA guard market has been tough all around and even quality point guards like former MVP Derrick Rose are getting the veteran's minimum, making overseas basketball that much more of a feasible reality, as teams are prioritizing young talent, which they can now farm with their G-League affiliates at a lower rate.

The likes of Ty Lawson and Brandon Jennings have chosen to go abroad and skip on the NBA after a declining market, putting Cole in a real decision-making spot.

The Cleveland State floor general flourished as part of a Miami Heat team, playing under Mario Chalmers in the Big Three era, later playing with the New Orleans Pelicans and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Cole only averaged a measly 3.3 points and 1.1 assists per game in 13 games with the Thunder, shooting only 31 percent from the floor during his short stint in OKC.

A borderline 40 percent career shooter that only shoots the three at 32 percent, Cole finds himself as an odd man out, with the opportunity to flourish in the international game after being stuck in the bench for most of his career in the NBA.
