It's not every day that you'll see Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic lose his cool in a game. That changed on Sunday as The Joker was clearly frustrated after he charged to an official to complain an obvious non-call.
Having a 6-foot-11 monster running towards you is a scary sight, so it's hard to blame the official for ducking as Jokic was running towards him.
If you watch the sequence closely, you can see that Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. did hit Nikola Jokic while he was putting up a shot, so the Nuggets big man's frustration was warranted.
After he missed the shot, Jokic put out his frustration on Terrence Ross with a hard foul as he was running towards the official who didn't blow the whistle. The leading MVP candidate did come out unscathed, as the officials gave the Nuggets leader a pass and didn't T him up after his outburst and his foul on Ross was deemed as a normal personal foul.
Jokic, who spends a decent amount of time on the block banging with several bodies, doesn't get a lot of calls to his favor. He's only being sent to the line an average of 4.7 times per game, which is quite low for a big guy. This is clearly taking its toll on the 26-year-old Nuggets star.
