It has to pain Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray to watch from the bench as his team gets demolished by the Golden State Warriors. It happened again on Monday night, with the Warriors running all over the Nuggets in Game 2, 126-106. It was the second consecutive blowout in the series, putting Denver in a major hole.
It seems some people are now questioning Murray's desire to return to the floor from the torn ACL he suffered last April. After Monday's Game 2 loss, the Nuggets guard took to Twitter with a message for those doubters:
Y’all don’t think I wanna be out there huh.. crazy

Murray has been working his tail off to get back on the floor, and at this point he's surely very close to being able to play. However, missing a full season with an ACL and then returning in the playoffs is a risky endeavor. While he wants to be back out there, the Nuggets star and the team want to be absolutely sure he's good to go before coming back.
That's why it has to pain Murray so much to be going through this. He wants to be able to be out there to help his team, but he's just not ready yet and has to watch this demolition unfold. Making matters worse is Michael Porter Jr.'s absence as well, leaving Nikola Jokic to continue battling against a Warriors team that seems to be rounding into championship form.
It honestly might not even matter if those Nuggets stars were out there, because Golden State is mostly healthy and looking like a juggernaut again. Still, Jokic could use all the help he could get out there, and it's killing Murray inside that he can't give it yet.
