Branislav Jokic, the father of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, assured everything is “fine” after his son contracted the novel coronavirus while at his native land in Serbia.

Jokic, who contracted the virus last week, is asymptomatic and will sit out for another week before traveling to the United States to rejoin his team prior to Training Camp 2.0.

“We are all fine. Nikola is fine. It’s been a week,” Branislav Jokic told Nova.rs. “What he had is gone. He is not showing symptoms. He is with us and everything is fine.”

Jokic will be allowed to travel back to Denver once he's tested negative for the virus.

The 7-footer was spotted at a KK Partizan exhibition basketball game earlier this month, taking part on pre-game activities with some of the players. Partizan's center, Nikola Jankovic, tested positive shortly after — putting Jokic's health in question.

Jokic hasn't been alone, however. A Western Conference playoff team revealed four positive cases in the past few weeks and the Phoenix Suns, who were the last team to get into the NBA restart in Orlando, found two positive cases on Tuesday.

The virus has not discriminated when spreading around the world, infecting stars like Rudy Gobert, Kevin Durant, and now Jokic.

The NBA expects positive COVID-19 cases to pop up throughout their restart of the season, but have put rules forward that would allow for the completion of the season.
