Nikola Jokic has officially been listed as one of the three finalists for the 2020-21 NBA season's Most Valuable Player award. The Denver Nuggets star fittingly ended the season with a crazy, 4-year record that has to be further proof for how much he deserves said award.

Jokic has once again led Denver in points, rebounds, AND assists. This becomes his fourth consecutive season doing so, becoming the only NBA player to ever achieve such a feat. To say that he is everything to his Nuggets squad would still be a massive understatement.

Nikola Jokic was already the do-it-all hub for the Nuggets in years past, but this season the Serbian center has taken it to an extreme new level. He's upped his points average from 19.9 per night to 26.4 points per game, a huge 6.5 scoring increase. He also notched new career highs in rebounds (10.8), assists (8.3), and free throw percentage (86.8%).

The accomplishment feels extra impressive considering it's never been done by anyone else but the Nuggets star before. Guys like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, Kobe Bryant, and James Harden all come to mind as players who have had dominant stretches throughout their career. Being able to reach this 4-year NBA record which culminated with such a magnificent season is a huge feather to the cap of Nikola Jokic's MVP award bid.
