This Friday, December 29 is the Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas between the Ohio State football team and Missouri football team. Coach Ryan Day will lead the Buckeyes against top ten SEC opponent Missouri in a game that Buckeye fans hope will reverse the team's abysmal 2-12 all-time mark against the SEC in bowl games.

Ohio State football and new Big Ten foe USC are the favorites for a talented Kansas State transfer. Ohio State cornerback Denzel Burke criticized the officiating in the Michigan game weeks after its conclusion.

On Wednesday, reporter Kellyanne Stitts shared an update about star Buckeyes tight end Cade Stover that will please fans of Coach Day's team.

Stover ‘Excited' About Upcoming Game

Stover is second on the Buckeyes' receiving stats list for 2023 with 576 receiving yards, less than half of Heisman finalist Marvin Harrison Jr.'s total.

The 6-foot-4, 251-pound Mansfield, Ohio native was asked about the Cotton Bowl and spoke candidly about his intentions to play in the game, a relief for Buckeyes fans everywhere heading into a matchup of two top ten teams this weekend.

“We're going to do everything we can to win this game,” Stover said at the conclusion of his interview.

Ohio State Football Favored vs. Missouri

The Buckeyes are slight betting favorites heading into Friday night's game, which begins at 8 p.m. in Texas.

Coach Day's team is hoping to win its 12th game, and to erase the sting of a 30-24 loss in Ann Arbor, Michigan this past November.

The Tigers are led by QB Brady Cook, who has 20 TDs and six interceptions on the year, and running back Cody Schraeder, who has 1,489 yards on the ground along with 13 touchdowns.
