USA Gymnastics star Simone Biles pulled out of the team competition at the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday. Biles later revealed that she wasn't dealing with any physical issues and was focusing on her mental health.

2016 USA Gymnastics gold medalists Laurie Hernandez and Aly Raisman immediately reacted to the news. Both Hernandez and Raisman acknowledged how much pressure was on Biles entering these Olympics as the immense favorite to win gold:

Hernandez and Raisman both know all about the pressure of competing in the Olympics and the impact it can have on an individual's mental health. Biles, Hernandez, Raisman, Gabby Douglas and Madison Kocian were part of the so-called “Final Five” that won gold at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016, and Biles was trying to lead USA Gymnastics to a third straight gold medal in the team competition.

Team USA still won the silver medal in this event, which was an impressive accomplishment after the Simone Biles setback:

It's not yet known if Simone Biles is going to compete in the individual events later in the Olympics. She recently admitted herself all the pressure she's facing as the GOAT of the sport. It's good to know that her issues aren't physical, but she should take all the time she needs to work on her mental health and get back in the right frame of mind.

Let's hope she'll be back in action later to compete for more gold medals, but she deserves all the support no matter what she does.
