The Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams just had one of the greatest games not only of the season but of all time as well.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Rams signal-caller Jared Goff spent most of the night exchanging telling blows through the air, but it seemed that the former was the one who blinked first.
With the Chiefs trailing Los Angeles by three points with just under two minutes remaining, Mahomes made a critical mistake that cost Kansas City a golden opportunity to either tie or get the lead back: he threw the ball right into the waiting arms of former Kansas City cornerback Marcus Peters.

Surprisingly, though, that pick by Marcus Peters didn’t stop Kansas City from having another stab on offense, as a few plays later, Mahomes and the Chiefs got the ball back thanks to some questionable play-calling from the Rams.
Fortunately for Los Angeles, safety Lamarcus Joyner was in the right place and on the right time to pick Mahomes when there were only 25 seconds remaining on the game clock.

In the end, the Rams scored a 54-51 victory, with Goff finishing the contest with 413 passing yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions on 31-of-49 completions. Mahomes, on the other hand, went 33-of-46 and concluded the game with 478 passing yards, six touchdowns, and three picks.
