The Utah crowd went into a frenzy after a Donovan Mitchell three pointer bounced in as the second quarter was coming to a close. Still, Curry was able to hoist up a Hail Mary. Luckily for the Jazz, that shot did not count. Otherwise, it could have shushed the crowd a bit at the end of the half.

Nevertheless, this is nothing new to NBA fans as Curry has made countless of shots from this distance. This is actually a shot that the two-time MVP practices, in case situations like this arise.

The Mitchell dagger capped off a scintillating quarter for the Jazz, which dropped 47 points on the Warriors in the second period. This mark tied the most points the Warriors gave up in a second quarter ever. They also made 10 threes in doing so. The Jazz were up 81-69 against the Warriors to end the first half.

The Jazz kept on the clamps into the third quarter as they held a 16-point lead against Golden State mid-way through the period. However, the defending champions wouldn't go down without a fight as they clawed their way back into the game.

The Jazz were well on their way to upsetting the champs after Durant missed a potential go-ahead basket near the free throw line. However, a box out miscue saw former Jazz player Jerebko tip in the game winner for his new squad.

This game had full of drama, and was probably a preview of what's to come in the Western Conference playoffs. We're just two games into the season, but hopefully, we'll get to see these two heavyweights square off again in a seven game bloodbath sometime in May.
