Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb may have played his last game as a Packer during Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions, and prior to the game, he and quarterback Aaron Rodgers shared an emotional moment together.

In what was a truly tumultuous season for the Packers that resulted in the firing of long-time head coach Mike McCarthy and a 6-9-1 record, this photo tells one heck of a story.

People have ripped Rodgers throughout the year for his leadership abilities, but, clearly, he has formed a strong bond with some of the players on the team, like Cobb.

Rodger and Cobb have been playing together since 2011, Cobb's rookie campaign after being selected by Green Bay in the second round of the draft in the spring of that year.

Cobb went on to become one of Rodgers' most productive receivers over the next several years, including the 2014 campaign in which he hauled in 91 receptions for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

Since then, however, Cobb has been on a steady decline, and this year, he caught just 38 passes for 383 yards and two touchdowns in nine games, as Cobb dealt with a hamstring injury for a good portion of the season.

For the Packers, this year marks the first time the team will miss the playoffs in back-to-back seasons since 2006. Last year, Green Bay won just seven games and failed to qualify for the postseason, largely due to the fact that Rodgers missed most of the season with a broken collarbone.
