After Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and it was reported that he's not vaccinated, fans and experts alike have been questioning whether he violated the league's protocols with regards to the virus.
The league has put in place several rules to limit the interaction of unvaccinated players with their vaccinated teammates and team members, as well as to the media. Some of the restrictions for unvaccinated players include not being able to eat with teammates, use same sauna or steam room, travel with the team plane and leave the hotel room and interact with other people that are not part of the organization, per Ian Kenyon of Bleacher Report.
While there is no clarity yet whether Rodgers is following the rules mentioned, Albert Breer of NBC Sports Boston claimed that the Packers QB has violated at least one major COVID-19 vaccine restriction: talking to the media unmasked.
Aaron Rodgers has remained mum about the issue. He has yet to address concerns whether he misled people when he said back in August that he's “immunized,” especially since he even showed support to his unvaccinated teammates by saying he's not going to judge them.
It's a stick situation that Rodgers has put himself in, and if it is proven to be true that he is not vaccinated and has violated league protocols, the NFL will surely take action to punish him.
For now, though, everyone can just patiently wait as the Packers superstar stays in isolation while he recovers from the dreaded disease.
