Once Aaron Rodgers decided to come back to the Green Bay Packers for the 2021 season, their odds to win the Super Bowl skyrocketed.

The reigning MVP is returning to a team that kept its entire core in place this offseason outside of all-pro center Corey Linsley. The goal should be to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February.

When asked whether or not this year is a “Super Bowl or bust,” season, Rodgers didn't hedge on his answer.

“I think we all know what's at stake…We're just gonna enjoy this season. It's Titletown, it's championship or bust every year.”

The stakes are indeed high for the Packers and rightfully so. Green Bay has appeared in the last two NFC Championship's but have come up short in back-to-back years. Two seasons ago the San Francisco 49ers bulldozed through Rodgers' Packers and last year Green Bay suffered the gut-wrenching loss at Lambeau Field to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Making two straight conference championship appearances is tough enough as it is. But the goal for the Packers this year is clear and it's to win it all.

Whether or not this will be No. 12's last year in Wisconsin is yet to be determined. Winning a Super Bowl might not change his mind on staying after all the dysfunction between Rodgers and the front office for the Packers. Going out in style on top would be appropriate.

In Titletown the expectations are always to bring the Lombardi Trophy hope. That's no different this season and Rodgers and the Packers know it.
