Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers showed flashes of offensive brilliance in the first half against the Minnesota Vikings. It was a great sight for fans who were worried about the offense following their dismal performance against the Chicago Bears in Week 1. Unfortunately, the Packers were shut out by the Vikings in the second half and nearly gave up the game.

When everything was said and done, the Packers were able to pull out a hard-fought 21-16 victory over their division rivals to improve to 2-0 on the young season.

Following the win over Minnesota, Rodgers took some time to speak out about the offense and how they have played so far in the first two games of the year.

Rodgers doesn't seem too terribly impressed with the team's offense so far. No one can blame him. Green Bay has to be better moving forward if they want to be serious Super Bowl contenders this season.

Matt LaFleur is a rookie head coach and is in charge of play-calling. He has had some questionable decisions, but that is expected with a young coach. Rodgers and LaFleur seem to be working well together, even though there was a yelling match between the two on the sidelines after one failed drive against the Vikings.

Green Bay will face off against a solid Denver Broncos team next week. Denver has a good defense with defensive guru Vic Fangio calling the shots. They will have to be much better if they want to start the season 3-0.

All of that being said, the Packers are 2-0 and the fans should be excited about that. The offense has big-time potential as we saw in the first half against Minnesota, but they need to figure things out from a consistency standpoint.
