Aaron Rodgers played a fine game from the pocket despite his Green Bay Packers suffering a horrible defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. One of the reasons why the Packers weren't able to put up as much of a better fight can be attributed to his insistence to throw to Jimmy Graham.

Jimmy Graham was at fault for the blunder that cost the Packers to tie the game. Moreover, the Eagles managed to end the game, 27-34. What was more frustrating was the fact that he didn't complete the pass against Zach Brown who was six inches shorter than his 6'7″ frame.

However, Rodgers still believes in the gigantic tight end. He believes that he can still make plays for the team.

“The trust is high with Jimmy,” Rodgers said, via ESPN. “I’ve got a lot of faith in him. He made a great adjustment on the touchdown in the first half, the two-minute drive. Not something we talked about — he just wheeled it up. I saw him, and he made a nice catch on the ball. I know he probably expects to make one of those two plays there [from the 1-yard line], but I have a ton of confidence in Jimmy.”

It's hard to imagine Graham finding a spot in the team any longer if he doesn't make a way to improve his catching. Coaches were puzzled with the OBJ attempt he made in such a crucial down.

However, there's nothing the Packers can do but move on to other things. After all, they have an important match against the Cowboys to look forward to.
