The Green Bay Packers secured a season opener win on Sunday night against the Chicago Bears after overcoming a 20-point deficit in the second half behind star quarterback Aaron Rodgers' play.

However, the focus has shifted toward Rodgers health as he's dealing with a leg injury that has limited his mobility and arisen some serious questions about his status moving forward. During an interview on ESPN Radio's ‘The Dan Le Batard Show” on Tuesday morning, Rodgers voiced that he is taking the matter just one day at a time, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Since the conclusion of the season opener, Rodgers has voiced no concern over the situation as he has full confidence that he will be able to play against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. These next few days will be huge in determining his availability for that contest, which the team has voiced much optimism about his status for that contest. There have already been reports that he is dealing with an injury that won't be worsened if he plays due to the small brace he has on it while continuing to limit his mobility over the next few weeks.

The fact that Rodgers hasn't voiced any real doubts about his health should speak about where he stands physically. he is dealing with an ailment that forces him to operate more in the pocket while changing his game to being dependent on set throws due to his left knee currently likely having a sprained MCL.

If some reason Rodgers is unable to give it a go, the team would like turn to second-year quarterback DeShone Kizer to take up the spot start duties. Kizer struggled in the season opener completing 4-of-7 passes for 55 yards with an interception and fumble in his limited action in the second quarter against the Bears.
