For now, Aaron Rodgers is still with the Green Bay Packers. It remains to be seen if he'll be shipped out, especially with Rodgers not shy about his displeasure with the team.
What's clear though is that he's still one of the NFL's main superstars. He has inspired the next wave of quarterbacks, including New York Jets rookie Zach Wilson. But while the second overall pick acknowledged Rodgers' influence on him, he definitively chose Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady as the GOAT (via Heavy).

I’ve always been a Rodgers guy because of the flashiness, but the thing that’s important in the game is winning, right? This is a team sport and it’s all about winning. It’s not how cool a throw looks or anything like that, so he’s definitely been a favorite to watch growing up and I think that’s just because of the way he does it. The way he’s found a system, a process, that works for him as far as just offseason conditioning,”
Did Wilson just hurl a huge shade on Rodgers?
Whatever that was, the 22-year-old Brigham Young standout won't like it when he faces off with Rodgers. Wilson might need to go to Wikipedia and check out Rodgers' accolades to remind himself of the Packer QB's greatness. For sure, the three-time MVP isn't just a flashy signal-caller as Wilson remarked.
