The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears own one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL. Bears legend Brian Urlacher would know that firsthand. But despite his disdain for the Packers during his career, Urlacher had nothing but praise for Aaron Rodgers during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

While speaking about Green Bay's All-Pro quarterback, Urlacher understands how much pressure is put on Rodgers to perform well:

“Every year it’s all on Aaron Rodgers, he doesn’t turn the football over and doesn’t make bad decisions,” Urlacher said while on The Pat McAfee Show.

Just a season ago, it was evident that the Packers were lacking in the passing game outside of Davante Adams. Nonetheless, throughout this offseason, Green Bay didn't do much to improve the roster around Rodgers.

Altogether, the Packers added oft-injured Devin Funchess and rookie A.J. Dillon to the offense. Besides that, Green Bay stuck with the status quo on the offensive side of the ball.

To make matters even worse, the Packers took Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Given the fact they traded up to take Love, he's expected to be the eventual replacement to Rodgers.

Even though Rodgers was short on weapons, the Packers were just one game shy of reaching the Super Bowl in 2019. As Urlacher noted, Rodgers' ability to limit mistakes has led to him and the team having an extensive amount of success.

Brian Urlacher, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018, knows it's just a matter of time before Rodgers joins him in Canton. The former linebacker believes Rodgers deserves more praise for how he's been able to perform well in recent years despite the hand he's been dealt.
