A former Minnesota Viking and eight-time Pro Bowl receiver, Cris Carter probably didn't like the Green Bay Packers much in his playing days. However, now that he's an analyst for Fox, he's high on the team. In fact, he said they could win the Super Bowl in 2019.

“This is the best Green Bay team we've had in the past five years. We keep talking about the coach and quarterback as if they already have a problem and we're missing the fact that this might be our Super Bowl champ. — Have we forgetton who Aaron Rodgers is? Let's not, this is a good football team. People in Minnesota are terrified of Green Bay, and terrified of the Bears. And rightfully so, because of them are very talented.”

Carter's Super Bowl prediction for the Packers comes on the heels of Green Bay finishing 6-9-1 in 2018 and 7-9 in 2017. But, there is hope for change. Rather than stick with the old, the Packers fired former head coach Mike McCarthy in favor of Matt LaFleur, an offensive innovator hailing from the Sean McVay coaching tree. But, they didn't stop with coaching changes.

The Packers did little to upgrade Rodgers' offense, but they bolstered a defense in need of help in mighty fashion. In free agency, the team added on edge rushers Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith. They also poached Bears starting safety Adrian Amos. In the draft, they spent their two first-round picks on pass rusher Rashan Gary and safety Darnell Savage.

In a culmination of the five moves, the Packers boast a defense ready to change course from subpar play the years before.
