With Davante Adams previously expressing that he won't play under the franchise tag for the Green Bay Packers, he surely won't now. Because he's going to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The NFL got shook on Thursday night as the Packers traded Adams, their top wide receiver, to the Raiders in exchange for the no. 22 and no. 53 picks in this year's NFL Draft. More astonishingly, the Raiders will hand Adams a five-year, $141 million contract, making him the highest-paid WR in league history.

While the Packers will sorely miss Adams, some of his teammates were still thrilled for him, including safety Adrian Amos.

Packers linebacker Preston Smith could only mutter one word.

Packers tackle Kenny Clark, meanwhile, expounded on Smith's reaction.

While we're not entirely sure, it looks like Packers running back AJ Dillon is ready to now battle with Adams, based on his GIF.

But Dillon's fellow running back Aaron Jones is still in disbelief, probably along with the entire fanbase of the Packers.

The exit of the 29-year-old Adams leaves a gaping hole in the offense of the Packers, as he and quarterback Aaron Rodgers formed a lethal one-two punch for years. Rodgers just re-signed with the squad, fully knowing that his partner in crime may not return.

Adams will always be remembered by the Packers for his valuable contributions. In eight seasons, he became a two-time All-Pro member and a five-time Pro Bowler. Some could even argue that he's the best wide receiver in the NFL today.

Now, the locker room will look a little bit different in the coming days.
