The Green Bay Packers are in a heated contest against the Los Angeles Rams. They've looked solid throughout the game but it seems they will be lacking firepower due to the latest injury update regarding Randall Cobb.

According to Jourdan Rodrigue, “Randall Cobb (groin) is out for the rest of the game.” This is unfortunate news for the Packers, as Cobb has been a great asset to the offense since Aaron Rodgers basically forced the front office to trade for him. Cobb will be dearly missed for the rest of the contest, but luckily Green Bay has a decent lead late in the third quarter.

We'll see how serious the injury is throughout the week. There haven't been any new updates since Cobb was ruled out. The Packers need him in the lineup, as Davante Adams is essentially by himself running routes.

Even so, the Packers seem to be running away with this one after going up 37-17 just before entering the fourth quarter. Hopefully, Cobb can bounce back from this groin injury quickly, as Green Bay will need his production moving forward.

Luckily for him, the Packers enter their bye week after this game against the Los Angeles Rams. This team will receive much-needed rest and provide extra time for Cobb and the rest of the roster to heal up before getting back in action in Week 14.

Keep an eye on Cobb, as updates regarding his groin injury will come to light throughout the week.
