Through the first two games of the season, Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham has picked up a significant role in the passing game in his first campaign with the Green Bay Packers.

There has been some fluctuation with his role, but he has voiced his willingness to do whatever is asked of him for the betterment of the team's success on the field, according to Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“It’s always nice to contribute and do your job, to be that guy that’s looked upon to make big plays,” Graham said. “We’ll see. I just want to come and do my job. If that’s blocking, pass protect or chip and flat, I’m going to do that to the best of my ability.”

Following a quiet outing in the season opener with just two catches for eight receiving yards, Graham saw an uptick in his involvement in the passing game in the 29-29 tie against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 as he hauled in 6-of-8 targets for 95 receiving yards. This included a pair of receptions for more than 20 yards headlined by a 34-yard catch that showed his big-play ability.

Graham has continued to show more comfort playing in the Packers offense while further solidifying himself as a legitimate option in the passing game for star quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The two have seen their chemistry on the field continue to grow with each passing game that may see him put up more highly productive outings ahead. Green Bay will likely utilize him more in the red zone where he has proven throughout his career to be a highly effective option

The fact that he has voiced that he will step into any role that is asked of him could be huge in helping him get further ingrained into the Packers' offensive game plan while putting together another strong campaign.
