Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been all over NFL headlines of late, following his positive test for COVID-19 and the subsequent drama surrounding the situation. Everything peaked earlier this week when Rodgers told reporters he was dealing with “COVID Toe” while discussing his injury, and some folks aren't going to let him forget his comments.

Joe Buck was on the call for the Packers-Rams Week 12 matchup on Sunday, and he took a friendly jab at Rodgers with some COVID toe-related comments.

That's definitely one way to deal with complications from COVID toe, though we're not sure how Rodgers actually feels about getting immunized, at least not using standard practices.

Buck didn't stop there, however, getting another comment in about the Packers' star quarterback's toe.

Buck certainly didn't mean any harm with his comments, poking fun at one of the game's best quarterbacks over the recent situation that had him plastered all over the news. Still, let's not pretend Joe buck didn't know what he was doing, getting those jokes off in front of a national audience during one of the biggest games of the season.

Rodgers has been dealing with a toe injury, and when asked to compare his ailment to Davonte Adams' turf toe, Rodgers described his own injury as “Covid Toe.” The injury, which Rodgers explained was extremely painful, hasn't kept him from featuring in any games, though he did miss Green Bay's Week 9 matchup after his positive coronavirus test. Rodgers is on the field and lighting up the Rams' secondary on Sunday, so clearly his toe injury isn't holding him back much.
