With David Bakhtiari on the physically unable to perform list to start the year for the Green Bay Packers, the team faces an uncertain situation on its offensive line.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur had previously said he wasn't going to reveal the starting group for the offensive line before Week 1, but he seemed to let it slip on Monday.

As Rob Demovsky notes, the two rookies starting — mentioned by LaFleur — would indicate that it will be rookie Josh Myers at center and rookie Royce Newman at guard.

With the domino effect continuing, it's a safe assumption that Elgton Jenkins will start the year at left tackle with Billy Turner at right tackle.

It will bring about a massive change to start the year for the Packers.

Bakhtiari is an All-Pro lineman and by most accounts the best offensive tackle in the NFL. Factoring in the fact that All-Pro center Corey Linsley left in the offseason and signed with the Los Angeles Chargers, Green Bay lacks its two best linemen from a year ago to start this season.

The good news for the Packers is that Aaron Rodgers will be under center, and he is more than good enough to mask a lot of the issues that could emerge on the line, especially for the two rookies.

Green Bay is heading to Jacksonville in Week 1 to take on the New Orleans Saints in a game that was moved due to Hurricane Ida.
