The Green Bay Packers shocked a lot of people when they selected Jordan Love in the first round. Peter King of NBC Sports thinks that starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers is upset with the team for selecting the Utah State standout.

King made an appearance on WEEI's Dale and Keefe show to talk about all things from the first round of the NFL draft. King said he believes Rodgers is upset that the team selected Love instead of bringing in another playmaker to help them now.

“I'll tell you what he thinks, he's pissed off. Wouldn't you be? You realize that when the Green Bay Packers have been sitting there for the last four drafts and Aaron Rodgers said, ‘Give me a weapon, give me a weapon. Get me some receivers and the Packers have never—unless you consider Ty Montgomery, who was switched to running back after being a college receiver at Stanford—they have not picked a wide receiver in the top 100 picks in the last four drafts when they have had a significant need in the last two years. Now, they have pick 62 tonight and they will pick a receiver, I would guess.”

Of course, the Packers didn't end up going wideout with their second-round pick instead drafting running back AJ Dillion of Boston College.

Rodgers hasn't made any comments yet about the draft, but when he does everyone will be listening. Rodgers asked for more playmakers and they decided to go a different direction in the first round.
