Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a 37-yard pass touchdown to wide receiver Allen Lazard in the first quarter against the New York Giants on Sunday breaking the tie in the snow at MetLife Stadium (via NFL).

Lazard, 23, a second-year former undrafted free agent wideout out of Iowa State, caught his second career touchdown with Sunday's grab from future Hall of Fame gunslinger Rodgers, breaking a 7-all tie with the Giants, who have lost seven consecutive games.

The Giants are looking to salvage something out of a season spent mostly losing and seeing star running back Saquon Barkley return from injury and not look the same. Meanwhile, rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is trying to create consistency and will have a tough job keeping up with Rodgers.

Rodgers and the Packers need to win against lesser competition today to keep up and make a run at the first seed in the NFC.
