Tom Brady spent the first 20 years of his NFL career with the New England Patriots, winning six Super Bowl titles and establishing an all-time great legacy that will never be forgotten.

However, all good things must come to an end, and last week, Brady decided it was time to leave the Patriots, signing a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 42-year-old would not go into too much detail about how things unfolded, but Brady is certainly thankful for the time he spent in New England:

“I'm not responsible for how other people will say certain things,” said Brady, according to Greg Auman of The Athletic. “I think Mr. (Robert) Kraft has been a great influence on my life. I'm so grateful for two decades. … It's been an amazing thing for my family.”

There has been a whole lot of speculation about exactly what went down between Brady and the Patriots over the last couple of weeks, with Kraft saying that Brady never really gave the Patriots a chance to even make an offer.

But Brady still has nothing but positive feelings toward the organization he called home for so long:

“I have a great deal of respect,” Brady said of the Patriots, per Auman. “There's nobody who's been a bigger fan of the Patriots than me. I have nothing but total respect and love.”

It's hard to imagine Brady playing anywhere else, but that is exactly what we will see in Week 1 of next season when the future Hall-of-Famer suits up in a Buccaneers uniform.
