The New England Patriots will be without a key player on offense for their Week 10 home matchup against the Cleveland Browns, as running back Damien Harris has been listed as out for the contest.

Harris did not feature in any of the Patriots' scheduled practice sessions over this week due to a concussion suffered during the team's Week 9 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. The third-year running back took on a hard hit by Panthers defensive end Brian Burns during a second down play in the fourth quarter. He was slow to get up following the play and later did not return to the game.

The Patriots initially listed Harris as questionable on Friday for their upcoming clash with the Browns but have now elected for the more conservative route by ruling him out.

There could also be a chance that backup running back Rhamondre Stevenson may go on to not feature in Week 10. As with Harris, Stevenson also did not take part in a single practice session with the team this week due to a concussion suffered in the fourth quarter against the Panthers.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick did note on Friday that the team is still evaluating Stevenson on a “day-to-day” basis.

With Harris out and Stevenson being listed as questionable for Week 10, running back Brandon Bolden may be in line for an increase in rush attempts against Cleveland. He has so far recorded 108 rushing yards on a 4.9 yards per rush attempt average over nine games played this season.

The Patriots will look to move to a 6-4 record with a win over Cleveland.
