The PGA Tour has been the subject of many golf rumors lately, with the possible emergence of a rival golf league in the works. Several players have received astronomical offers from said rival league, while others, including Phil Mickelson have voiced their opinions on what that league could mean for the PGA Tour. That's not the only thing that Mickelson has voiced his opinion on. The six-time major champion spoke about the rival golf league and criticized the PGA Tour for their “obnoxious greed” regarding the amount of media rights money shared with the players. Mickelson's comments prompted a fiery shot from fellow golf star Brooks Koepka, as reported by the New York Post.

Replying on Golf Digest’s Instagram feed, Koepka said, “Dk [don’t know] if I’d be using the word greedy if I’m Phil….” Several curious emojis were attached.

Brooks Koepka didn't hold back when speaking about Phil Mickelson's PGA Tour rant in a recent Instagram comment. Mickelson seemingly alluded to potentially joining the rival golf league, which has been offering top 100 players money left and right.

Koepka finds it funny that Mickelson would use the word ‘greedy' when the latter is basically considering a move based on financial benefits.

Based on these fiery comments made by Brooks Koepka towards Phil Mickelson, the PGA Tour could have a new rivalry on its hands.
