Today the Detroit Pistons signed restricted free agent center Boban Marjanovic.
Marjanovic is the 7'3″ Serbian center, drafted by the San Antonio Spurs last summer, that became a fan favorite, but had a short contract term.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Marjanovic signed an offer sheet with the Pistons for three years at $21 million dollars.

Marjanovich managed to be one of the league's most efficient players although he played limited minutes. His player efficiency rating among his NBA peers rank at 27.7, close to some of the leagues top stars such as Russell Westbrook and LeBron James.
Marjanovich only averaged 5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 9 minutes but managed to gain attention with his style of play and potential.
One of his most memorable plays of the season is when he dunked on the Jazz‘s Jeremy Evans and stared him down with a look that would intimidate anyone.
I will never forget Boban's glorious year in San Antonio. https://t.co/Bs1Ez6fPUq

Stein also reports, that the Spurs don't have enough cap space to match the Piston's offer, so Marjanovich will be donning a new uniform next season.
