After hitting the game-winner against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, Detroit Pistons point guard Derrick Rose had an epic postgame interview.

When Fox Sports Detroit's Johnny Kane asked Rose about his game-winner, the former MVP said, “Excuse my English, but I'm born to do this sh*t.”

In the Pistons' locker room, Rose elaborated on his legendary quote:

“Hey, hey, I believe so,” Rose said with a laugh when asked about his comments postgame, via Andrew Lopez of ESPN. “Like I said, I'm not a guy that has a pompous type of attitude, but sometimes, you got to.”

Rose is one of the most humble players in the NBA. You would never know he's the youngest MVP in NBA history by the way he acts or speaks. It's why Rose is one of the most respected players in the league.

The Pistons are 10-14 on the season but 6-4 in their last 10 games. While Rose’s scoring has gone down since Blake Griffin returned to the lineup, the three-time All-Star is still providing scoring and playmaking punch off Detroit’s bench.

In 19 games this season, Rose is averaging 16.1 points and 5.8 assists. He’s shooting 48.8 percent overall and 32.6 percent from beyond the arc.

D-Rose will continue to close games for the Pistons since he's a proven closer and killer.
