If you haven't seen the leaks yet, then you may be excited to see yet another trailer released for Pokemon Legends Arceus. The much-awaited Nintendo Switch title will be arriving in just a few days. While the internet abounds with spoilers about the new Pokemon forms and even the storyline, fans can still enjoy a new and official video teasing the Hisui starters and their final evolutions.

Pokemon Legends Arceus trailer: Hisui starters and final evolutions

The latest PLA trailer takes us through Hisui, from quaint towns to vast wilderness, as trainers ride majestic beasts across the grasslands or through the skies. Like a highlight reel, it showcases an exciting variety of moves and battle animations—unleashing swirling blasts of water and dodging bright, powerful beams. Except for intriguing footage of what looks like space-time distortions or rifts in the sky, the teaser does not really contain anything new that we haven't seen from past videos.

The key talking point are the starter Pokemon. As is tradition, players get to choose one starter between a Grass-type, Water-type, and Fire-type. However, Legends Arceus takes starters from past generations and regions, taking Cyndaquil from Johto (Gen II, Gold and Silver), Rowlet from Alola (Gen VII, Sun and Moon), and Oshawott from Unova (Gen V, Black and White).

The starter trio make a brief appearance at the start of the trailer. Then about one and a half minutes in, we get to see their first evolved forms—the middle Pokemon in the evolutionary line—begin transforming into their final stage.

But then the trailer stops there, leaving us in suspense. Fans will have to be content with just seeing the silhouettes of Decidueye, Samurott, and Typhlosion. In Legends Arceus, the final evolutions of the starter trio have undergone some significant changes to take on their Hisuian forms, which players are looking forward to trying out.
