Home court advantage is a real thing that exists in sporting events. Teams typically have a more challenging time on the road because of conditions such as the crowd being against them or unfamiliarity. But ahead of the Las Vegas Raiders' trip to Los Angeles, quarterback Derek Carr says that their upcoming game against the Chargers doesn't feel that different from a home game.

“Whether it was in Los Angeles at that soccer stadium or at Qualcomm in San Diego, it was another home game. You always looked at it as another home game and that was no disrespect, it's just a fact.”
Oof, talk about shots fired from Carr. To be fair, the quarterback does have a point. Historically, visitors played well against the Chargers in their home field. In fact, during Week 2, Dallas Cowboys fans swarmed the SoFi Stadium. Their overwhelming presence powered the visiting team to a road win against the Chargers. It's no wonder, then, that Carr and the Raiders feel confident heading into their upcoming match.
There's no obvious reason for the Chargers' struggles at home. Whatever the reason may be, though, the Raiders seem to feel like they have the edge over the home team in Week 4. We'll see just how comfortable Derek Carr will be against the Chargers defense on Monday Night. Can the Raiders keep their undefeated streak going on the road?
