The Las Vegas Raiders have been pondering the decision and status of starting running back Josh Jacobs with Sunday's game for Sunday's game vs the Pittsburgh Steelers. But, according to Ari Meirov, Jacobs is now listed as out for Sunday's clash.

The tough breaks keep coming for Jacobs and the Raiders. They won a thrilling Monday night game against the Baltimore Ravens, a game in which Jacobs was listed as questionable with an injury, then an illness, but wound up playing and scoring two touchdowns in the victory.

Now with Jacobs being ruled out, the Raiders will turn to Kenyan Drake to lead the backfield. They signed Drake from the Arizona Cardinals during the offseason and he was meant to be a nice change of pace back for Las Vegas, but he will now be thrust into, the starting role with a tough matchup against the Steelers.

The injury situation with Jacobs will definitely be one to monitor going forward, and he clearly wasn't himself on Monday night. Fantasy owners might not be pleased with the absence of Jacobs, but here's to hoping Jacobs can recover and be ready for Week 3 as the Raiders certainly impressed everybody in their season opener.
