The Las Vegas Raiders were dealt a tough blow after running back Kenyan Drake went down with an ankle injury in their Week 13 matchup against the Washington Football Team.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Raiders RB suffered a broken ankle and is done for the entire year.

Via Rapoport:

Raiders RB Kenyan Drake suffered a broken ankle in today’s game, sources say, and he is out for the season. Drake, the team’s second-leading rusher, was ruled out quickly in the loss to the Washington Football Team.

The contact came as he was being taken down by a slew of Washington defenders. DT Daniel Wise's forward momentum forced him to slam into Drake's leg while the rest of his body was being held up by other defenders.

That's a big loss for the Raiders, who had Drake as their second leading rusher behind primary starter Josh Jacobs. Kenyan Drake had tallies of 254 total yards on 63 carries for the season, including just the lone rushing opportunity for zero yardage shown above.

The Raiders have lost four of their last five and have stumbled out of the playoff picture. They'll need Josh Jacobs to carry even more of the load on the ground for them to make ground in the standings the rest of the way.
