The existence of aliens has always been a topic of discussion, as many have claimed they have either seen an alien or a UFO. That seems to be the case for Maxx Crosby, as he claims he and the Las Vegas Raiders saw a UFO one night on a flight leaving Miami.

Crosby shared his story during a guest appearance on The Jim Rome Show. Rome asked the Raiders star point blank if he believed in aliens. Maxx Crosby then opened up and revealed what he and his teammates, and the pilots for that matter, potentially saw.

“It's real. Like we were literally on a flight back from Miami, and we've seen a UFO with our own eyes. And that sounds crazy, but you can ask the pilots, anybody that was there. It was wild. And I seen it, and they had no idea what it was. There was nothing on the radar, nothing. And it was like a big shining light going in and out.”

At this point, it's not that crazy to believe UFOs exist. Especially with the number of videos online showcasing possible sightings. And who knows, maybe the Raiders did see a UFO one night on their way back to Las Vegas.

Since playing for the Raiders, Maxx Crosby has played the Miami Dolphins in Miami on two occasions. First, in August 2022 during the preseason and then again in November 2023 during the regular season. Crosby didn't provide a specific date, but it had to have happened on one of those two nights.

Maxx Crosby is one of the best pass rushers in the league, as he's the face of the Raiders defense. He had a career year last season, finishing with 90 total tackles (career high), 14.5 sacks (career high), two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

Las Vegas missed the playoffs last season and hopes to improve in 2024-25. That might be a bit difficult, though, as the Raiders have to find a way to beat out the Kansas City Chiefs to clinch a playoff spot. Otherwise, they'll be forced to be a Wild Card team at best.

Although making the postseason is the goal, the Raiders could struggle next season. Outside of Maxx Crosby, Davante Adams is one of the other big names on the roster. The franchise did make a splash in the 2024 NFL Draft after selecting Brock Bowers and Jackson Powers-Johnson in the first two rounds.

But that might not be enough. The Raiders have a questionable quarterback room entering the 2024-25 season, as both Aiden O'Connell and  Gardner Minshew are in a camp battle for the starting job. The strongest asset of the team might be the defense, as Maxx Crosby and the gang should play relatively well next season.

At the very least, Las Vegas has some consistency as head coach after the organization named Antonio Pierce the head coach after he filled in as the interim. Maybe he can get the best out of his players. But the Raiders are not guaranteed to make the playoffs. At the very least, Las Vegas shouldn't be a bottom feeder and could be in the hunt late in the season.
