Per Ryan Talbot of the New York Upstate, the Oakland Raiders have interest in quarterback Nathan Peterman:

Peterman is a second-year quarterback who has spent his entire career as a Buffalo Bill. He was selected in the fifth round of the NFL draft by the Bills in 2017. He's had four starts in total eight games; he's thrown for three touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a QBR of 11.1. He hasn't had very good production with the Bills, but the 24-year-old still has a chance to carve himself out a career as a reliable backup.

The Oakland Raiders have been the laughingstock of the NFL this season. After giving former Monday night football personality a 10 year, 100 million dollar coaching contract, Gruden decided to tear everything down. He first traded away their best player in Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears and also wide-receiver Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys. Gruden is attempting to tear this team down and build from the bottom up his way.

The Raiders have a 3-11 record under Coach Gruden and are last in the AFC West Division. On the season they average 18.6 points per game which ranks 29th in the NFL. They give up an even worse 29.9 points per game which ranks dead last, 32nd in the entire league

The Oakland Raiders will play the Denver Broncos on Monday night football Christmas Eve at home. The Broncos are 6-8 on the season and are 3rd in the AFC West Division under head coach Vance Joseph. Their playoff chances are slowly fading away.
