Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. sympathized with Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald after a video showed the star lineman crying in the final minutes of the Rams’ divisional-round loss.

The Rams fell to the Green Bay Packers, 32-18, at Lambeau Field on Saturday.

Donald, a candidate for Defensive Player of the Year, was not his usual dominant self as he courageously battled through torn rib cartilage. The all-world DT registered just one tackle in the game and seemed to be on a limited snap count.

With under two minutes to go and the game all but over, Donald could be seen getting emotional on the sideline and being consoled by an assistant coach as Green Bay iced the game.

The Packers offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage all game, enabling the Green Bay offense to comfortably operate against the vaunted Rams defense. MVP frontrunner Aaron Rodgers completed 23 of 36 passes for 296 yards and two touchdown passes, while the Packers rushed for 189 yards — a franchise postseason record.

The Rams failed to record a sack and landed one hit on Rodgers.

In his seventh season with the Rams, Donald posted 13.5 sacks and 27 quarterback hits. He was elected to his seventh Pro Bowl and fifth All-Pro team in 2020. The 29-year-old has three years remaining on the six-year, $135 million contract extension he signed in 2018.

Meanwhile, Beckham Jr.’s Cleveland Browns will get their chance to advance to the conference championship game on Sunday, in a matchup with the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. Earlier this week, OBJ used Twitter to predict a victory for his squad.

Beckham Jr.’s season ended when he suffered a torn ACL in October.
