FS1's Colin Cowherd is extremely high on Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff, the 24-year-old former No. 1 draft selection who is entering his fourth NFL season.

Not only is Cowherd, speaking on his daily “The Herd” cable program, confident in Goff's performance for next season, he even placed him higher than established QB's like the Pittsburgh Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons, and more.

“Jared Goff is going to finish ahead of Big Ben, Wentz, Baker and Matt Ryan and I don’t necessarily think it’s wrong. I think he’s that kind of talent,” Cowherd told his audience while referencing the results of a league-wide survey for the NFL's “Top 100” players, which ranked Goff at No. 32 overall and the eight-best QB.

“If Goff is at his best, he'll look a lot like Tom Brady,” Cowherd continued, noting that the six-time Super Bowl camp is Goff's ceiling. Cowherd also noted that Goff's floor comparison would be Atlanta's shot caller Ryan, a four-time Pro Bowler.

Cowherd also praised Goff's arm, accuracy, and ability to be coached, but admitted he needs a better offensive line up front because he's “not overly athletic out of the pocket.”

Goff and the Rams are coming off an exceptional 2018 season, going 13-3 in the regular season, winning the NFC West division, and culminating in the franchise's fourth Super Bowl appearance in history, losing to Brady and the New England Patriots. Goff and star running back Todd Gurley II led an offense that eventually sputtered against the mighty Patriots in the Super—only putting up three points—but they appear poised to make more runs in the very near future.
