The Los Angeles Rams just wrapped up a brand new three-year extension for star defensive tackle Aaron Donald, and now they're set to hand another one of their star players the bag. According to Ian Rapoport, the Rams and Cooper Kupp are in the process of finalizing a new three-year deal that would pay the star wide receiver more than $75 million and make him one of the highest-paid receivers in the league.

According to Adam Schefter, the exact amount of the deal is $80 million and it includes $75 million in guaranteed money. The three-year extension will be tacked on to his current deal, meaning the Rams have now locked down Kupp for five years at a total cost of $110 million. It's a well-earned raise for Kupp, who won the Triple Crown at wide receiver last year while playing a key role in the Rams' Super Bowl run. In 2021, the 28-year-old hauled in 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns, all of which led the NFL.

He's now set to run it back with the Rams, who also locked down Donald on a highly-lucrative extension, further proving that NFL cap space is nothing more than a myth. Donald is due to make $95 million across three seasons with the Rams. Based on the report of Kupp's new deal, the Rams are doling out more than $200 million to the star duo in their latest contracts.
