The Los Angeles Rams went out and got super aggressive in the offseason to up the ante on the rest of the NFC. They upgraded at quarterback by kicking Jared Goff to the curb and trading for Matthew Stafford. Then they went out and added speed demon DeSean Jackson to a wide receiver room that already has Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp.

It's clear the Rams view these next few years as a title window opportunity and with their defense already set in place coming off a dominant 2020, that should be their exact mindset.

Jackson is just the newest piece on offense for Sean McVay and the Rams and he spoke to reporters about the connection he and Stafford already have within the offense.

Via Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times, here's what Jackson had to say.

“You continue to be great and just throw the ball, and I’m going to continue to be great and just run past everybody and use my speed,” Jackson said, via Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. “I think that’s the good niche about us, we’re just going to be dialed in and just continuously just learn the plays — and once the season starts, we’ll be in rare . . . form.” – DeSean Jackson.

The Rams figure to be right in the mix in a loaded NFC West in 2021. The Cardinals added major pieces in the offseason like J.J. Watt and A.J. Green while the Seahawks figure to be right back in the mix too. The 49ers won the NFC two years ago and have most of the same team back from a year ago that's downfall was being bit by the injury bug.

Having Stafford and Jackson could catapult the Rams near the top of the NFC.
