The Los Angeles Rams can now breathe a sigh of relief after escaping Week 11 of the NFL season with a close 54-51 win over the Kansas City Chiefs at home during the two teams’ Monday Night Football game.

The game had everything in it: crazy touchdowns, incredible defensive plays, and two teams that entered the game with only a loss apiece. The Rams had to go through a lot before shaking off Patrick Mahomes and company, so it’s perfectly understandable why they went full bonkers when they knew for certain that they had the win in the bag.

That moment was after Rams safety Lamarcus Joyner recorded a game-saving pick off of Mahomes. It was also the second interception thrown by the Chiefs in less than two minutes, as cornerback Marcus Peters also intercepted Mahomes during the Chiefs’ previous drive.

With the win, the Rams improved their record to 10-1, while dropping the Chiefs to 9-2.

The victory was also a nice send off for the Rams into a Week 12 bye. Instead of marinating themselves in a loss for two weeks, the Rams will celebrate that win over the next several days.

The Rams will resurface in Week 13 when they take on the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Michigan.
