The Los Angeles Rams' season has been a tale of two halves. The Rams started off 7-1 led by then-early MVP candidate Matthew Stafford, who had Los Angeles' offense as one of the best in the league. Stafford and the Rams' offense has since sputtered, with the team going 2-3 after their hot start. Former Rams quarterback Kurt Warner has a blunt take on Stafford that will make fans question the team's playoff fate.

Kurt Warner is pointing something out that a lot of Rams fans are likely currently worrying about when it comes to Matthew Stafford. Warner basically pointed out Stafford's inconsistent play as one of his worries when considering the Rams as contenders.

Warner is right. Stafford has had some brilliant moments, like when he threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns in a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and some really bad ones, like when he threw back-to-back interceptions against the Tennessee Titans.

Those exact moments are what Warner is talking about when it comes to Stafford's play. And the former Rams great makes a good point when he says that the ex-Lions' signal-caller had to get used to carrying Detroit on his back, but that he doesn't have to do so in Los Angeles with a star-studded cast.

Maybe that will take some of the playoff heat off of Matthew Stafford if and when the time comes for he and the Rams to take the field in the postseason. For now, Kurt Warner is a little unsure of which Stafford will show up. Maybe Rams fans should be too.
